The New Home model 534 Deluxe is a 60’s vintage all metal sewing machine manufactured by Janome in Japan. It is a full featured machine that produces a zigzag and straight stitch. The machine is cam compatible and there is a choice of 24 additional decorative stitches. The machine features a side loading class 15 bobbin and ustilizes an oscillating hook mechanism. The machine is a left homing needle only. No other needle position is available. The feed dog drop mechanism is controlled by 2 push buttons located on the bed in front of and to the left of the pillar.
